Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I hope you are all doing well by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. As the pastor of The House of Prayer Church, I am delighted to invite all to join us for our church anniversary celebration on March 15th at 5:00 pm at the London CanRC. This special occasion will be a time of thanksgiving, fellowship, and reflection on how God has been at work in our church. As is our tradition, we will have a potluck dinner, where everyone is encouraged to bring their favourite traditional dish to share with others. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our unity in Christ, as we come together as one family, just as Paul reminds us in Romans 12:5, “so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Additionally, we will be selling anniversary T-shirts for $30. If you would like to purchase one, please send me your name, size, and the number of shirts you would like.
Celebrating together is a beautiful expression of our shared faith and love for one another. Psalm 133:1 says, “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” This anniversary is not just about looking back at what God has done but also about looking forward to the work He will continue to do among us.
