On April 10-11 the Canadian Reformed Missions Association (CRMA) will be having a consultation to discuss if there is any value in having a more centralized approach to increase the cooperation among the different CanRef mission boards and organizations. If you are interested in presentations on the models used by the URCNA and the OPC as they compare to the CanRef decentralized approach, please join us at the Cornerstone Church in Hamilton:
• Thursday, April 10 at 8:00 pm - opening devotion
• Thursday, April 10 at 8:30 pm - Rev. Richard Bout, the URCNA Missions Coordinator, will speak on “How Does This Role Function in the URC? (Lived experience; blessings and challenges)”
• Friday, April 11 at 9:00 am - Dr. Mark Bube, General Secretary of the Committee on Foreign Missions (OPC) will speak on “A Centralized Coordinator Model Helps the Missionary Churches Facing Their Challenges.” (vision, personnel, visas, travel, mission board and communication)
• Friday, April 11 at 11:45 am - Dr. Arjan de Visser – "Rethinking the Canadian Reformed Decentralized Approach.”
• Friday, April 11 at 8:00 pm - Dr. Mark Bube will speak on “Centralized Mission Coordinator. How Does This Role Function in the OPC?” (Lived experience, blessings and challenges)
