Module 3 of Ministry for the Aging Certificate Program
We welcome you to the opening conference of the 3rd course of the Ministry for the Aging Certificate Program. As with all Word and Spirit Institute courses, the opening full day conference is open to all those interested in the topic as well as those who will be doing the course work.
*Joy in Aging* -Aging has unique challenges and joys. Come and learn to prepare for joyful aging.
Course Description: Many think of aging with a sense of dread. And yet, mature Christian authors suggest instead *Finishing Our Course* with Joy (J.I. Packer) and *Aging Joyfully* (Timothy Starr). The Bible promises a flourishing life in old age (Psalm 92), even counting all our various trials as joy (James 1; Romans 5). In this course we will consider the possibilities of joyful aging, along with the fears, challenges, and fun of growing older, all in the light of a biblical perspective on aging. The conference will be held on **Saturday December 9, 2017,** 8:30 am for registration; 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for the conference with lunch provided. It will be held at Covenant URC, 259 Albion Road, Toronto.
