Join us for an evening of singing the Psalms from various Reformed traditions! This event was held last fall in Niagara and by popular demand it is being brought into the Hamilton/Burlington area. Ministers, speakers, and organists from the Free Reformed Churches, the United Reformed Churches, the Presbyterian Church in America, and the Canadian Reformed Churches will be on hand to lead us in devotions, singing, and organ recitals, each in the style of their own tradition and using their own Psalters. We’ll get to sing from the new Trinity Psalter Hymnal, the 1650 Scottish Metrical Psalter, the 1912 Psalter and the 2014 Anglo-Genevan Psalter. It will be a time to enjoy praising God via the Psalms and to do so together as Reformed believers. There will also be an opportunity to purchase a copy of the new Devotional, Christ's Psalms, Our Psalms, a book of 365 Psalm-based meditations written by various Reformed pastors and edited by Rev. Peter Holtvlüwer, Pastor of the Spring Creek CanRC. Copies are $25 and all proceeds will go to mission work in Brazil. There will be a free-will offering to cover the cost of the evening, with any extra funds dedicated to Word and Deed Ministries.
